Not my pic, but the same problem.
Woke up, rushing to the train station, and the keyless remote isn’t working. Now I have to unlock doors with the key like a pleb.
Mid-2000s GM remotes are fracking garbage. Same thing happened with my G6 remote only months into ownership back then.
Hopefully the solder pad is intact... otherwise it’s another $70 plus whatever the heck the dealer wants to chage, since programming requires the Tech 2.

it *might* still be intact, did you try changing the battery? those are cheap

It’s a new battery. I changed it last time I soldered it.

Yeah, I did it several times. But one of the side pins snapped so I might need a new spring.
And I’m hoping the pad on the PCB is still good...

Even with a snapped tab just add some more solder around it to hold it on. If the button section is wearing out they make inserts to replace the contacts.

Yeah I have those around in my drawer. I already did the KeylessFix on my other remote.
